Issues of utilizing sand for local purposes. 

Since illegal sand and mining transportation has been banned through out the District.  It has become difficult to utilise the sand for local purposes also.  Mines and Geology Department need to identify ways and means to address the problem immediately.

Majority of Villages in Bagepalli Taluk have floride content in water which causes lot of health related problem to local People.

Around 200 Villages required proper water supply from surface water sources. (Wondaman reservoir, Chitravathi reservoir, etc.,) and proposal is being sent to provide water supply to these affected villages.

16 Chikballapur District has number of major Tanks belonging in to minor irrigation department as well as Zilla panchayat, immediate actions is needed to be taken to desilt these tanks as well as proper bund repair works. As these are sources of irrigation as well as drinking water supply. Sufficient funds needs to be provided to the Minor irrigation department & Zilla panchayat to take up these works on a massive scale. i) Funds to the tune of 98.90 Crores to be released to Zilla Panchayat.
